Strategies for Multifamily Building Resilience

Buildings with Positive Impact

We believe that buildings can, and should, be designed and constructed to reduce carbon emissions, contribute to the health and regeneration of our ecosystems, and support affordable, accessible, and safe housing for all.

We work with developers, architects, engineers, homeowners, and policy makers to support the development of high performance buildings that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve resilience to extreme weather, and increase affordability.

We provide consulting on LEED, Passive House, and Living Building certifications, which includes WUFI energy modeling, reviewing construction drawings, and providing guidance on energy efficient HVAC and pumping systems and Energy Star appliances. Additionally, we understand the potential of energy data as a tool to track, analyze, learn, and improve performance. We create environmental performance monitoring data displays and energy dashboards to support progress toward sustainability goals and engage users in learning about high-performing building features and other educational information in a dynamic format.
