In 2020, Linnean joined the Simon C. Fireman Expansion team as the Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC). The project consists of the addition of 46 new residential units to the existing 160-unit senior housing building in Randolph, MA.

Under the Phius 2018 program, Linnean supported the design team with the development of a robust thermal envelope, optimization of the mechanical and plumbing systems as well as conducted detailed energy and thermal modeling analyses to minimize energy loads. Upon completion, the project expects to be 76% more efficient than that of standard construction.
